Right now, we reckon you'd be hard pressed to find someone who owns zero Glossier (speak now or forever hold your peace). The brand - who can respectfully be considered nothing short of a miracle, have built themselves into the cult company they are today, in only a few years. Obviously, a lot emptier, and considerably worse. A brush-tip detailing pen that fills in brows with natural-looking featherlight strokes.Sometimes we find ourselves wondering how the inside of our makeup bag would look if Glossier had never been born. So many brow products can make your arches look harshly drawn-on, but not this innovative pen. Boy Brow, Glossier’s beloved and best-selling makeup product, now has a new best friend named Brow Flick, who just joined the lineup today. The idea is that you use the paintbrush-style brush nib to draw precise strokes into your arches, filling in any sparse areas and neatening the edges of your natural brow shape. Brow Flick is a precise brow pen designed to fill, extend, and define your brows in ways that Boy Brow’s sweeping brush just can’t. The secret is the slightly translucent finish of the ink, which means your strokes will blend in seamlessly with your natural hairs, giving brows a subtle boost rather than a total reboot. What's more, once the ink is dry (in a matter of seconds), it really doesn't budge, so you won't need to re-do your brows throughout the day. However, that's not to say that Brow Flick is a foolproof product – we did find it took a couple of trial runs to master the art, as the pen is so fine and the ink quite fluid. Starting with a clean canvas is the key to success, so ensure your brows are free from moisturiser and other products before starting to draw. That said, once we'd mastered the art, the finish was one of the most flattering and natural-looking we've ever seen: think full, bushy brows with no tell-tale lines or harsh edges. But Brow Flick worked for me and I’ll be adding it to my daily routine. There are three shades to choose from, and they're all perfectly matched to the original Boy Brow gel. Brow Flick retails for 18 and the Brow Flick + Boy Brow Duo is 30. (If you’re after an extra-defined look, use this to brush up your brows after – it's the perfect double act. It's no secret that Glossier's Boy Brow took the beauty world by storm. Last year, one tube of the creamy eyebrow pomade sold every 32 seconds, and it doesn't seem like the popularity of Glossier's best-selling product is slowing down any time soon. So, when Glossier's new Brow Flick landed online June 12, it may've had people wondering how exactly a new eyebrow product would fit into the beauty brand's repertoire. Here's the thing, though: Brow Flick isn't the next generation of Boy Brow. So the tag line of Brow Flick is ‘more brow for your brow’ and I have to say, that’s pretty spot on. While they're both means to an end (aka perfect, natural-looking eyebrows), the two products get there in very different ways. It is a super easy way to fill gaps and amp up the appearance of volume without the risk of getting too heavy handed. What is Glossier Brow Flick Glossier Brow Flick. Last week, Glossier debuted a companion to their best-selling tinted brow gel, Boy Brow. So this new super sleek pen is an eyebrow. Brow Flick is a liquid brow pen designed to allow you to draw on individual hairs with the precision of a microblader. Boy Brow is pretty beloved, partly because it’s just so damn easy to use. While Boy Brow's pomade grooms and thickens the hair you already have, Brow Flick's water-resistant formula fills in patchy spots and sparse eyebrow tails. The $18 product resembles a sharp brush-tip marker you use the pointed applicator to draw on fine, hair-like strokes of pigmented copolymers that quickly blend in with the rest of your brows. You don't have to pick your shade from a whole new lineup of colors, either.
